According to reports from the Inner Mongolia Development and Reform Commission, according to coal price monitoring data reported by the various leagues and cities, in early November 2020, the price of thermal coal at the pit mouth of the whole region (Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, the same below) slightly decreased, and the purchase price of thermal coal rose slightly.

On November 5, the average pit-head settlement price of thermal coal in the main producing areas of the region was 241.05 yuan/ton, a slight decrease of 0.22% compared with October 25, 2020 (hereinafter referred to as the ring comparison).

Among them, the average pit settlement price of lignite in the eastern region was 227.60 yuan/ton, a slight increase of 0.23% from the previous month, and the average pit settlement price of Ordos thermal coal was 293.33 yuan/ton, a decrease of 1.12% from the previous month.

On the year-on-year basis, the average pit settlement price of thermal coal in the whole district increased by 13.72%. Among them, the average pit price of lignite in the eastern region increased by 19.83%, and the average pit price of thermal coal in Ordos increased by 18.92%.

On November 5, the average purchase price of thermal coal in the whole district was 231.47 yuan/ton, an increase of 3.26% from the previous month, and the average value after conversion to standard coal (7,000 kcal) was 456.61 yuan/ton, an increase of 2.55% from the previous month.

Among them, the average purchase price of thermal coal in the eastern region was 222.61 yuan/ton, an increase of 1.32% from the previous month, and the average after conversion into standard coal was 519.89 yuan/ton, an increase of 0.84% from the previous month; the average purchase price of thermal coal in the western region was 238.55 yuan /Ton, up 4.75% month-on-month, and the average value after conversion into standard coal is 405.89 yuan/ton, up 4.36% month-on-month.

On the year-on-year terms, the average purchase price of thermal coal in the entire region increased by 11.86%. Among them, the purchase price of thermal coal in the eastern region rose by 12.93%, and the purchase price of thermal coal in the western region rose by 11.07%.
