The functions of the continuous casting tundish are:

(1) reducing the hydrostatic pressure of the steel, maintaining the stable liquid level of the tundish and pouring the molten steel into the crystallizer;

(2) promoting the floating of the inclusions in the molten steel;

(3) diverting the molten steel;

(4) Store molten steel to achieve multi-furnace continuous casting.
