At the end of January 2020, during the Chinese New Year holiday, we received a 60,000-meter 4-inch steel pipe inquiry from Indonesian customer.

Knowing that this inquiry is a government project, even during the holidays, we also organized a technical department meeting to provide the quotation plan and authorization letter as soon as we can.

In response to the characteristics of the Indonesian market, we submitted a revision plan in early March to modify the welded pipe to a seamless pipe. This plan was quickly approved by the end user, and the final contract was finalized with Xinyue in April.

The entire order is 60,000 meters, and the pipe is used in the southeastern region of Sumatra, Indonesia for the residential gas network building. Due to the tight local construction period of the project, the client adopted the local and Xinyue joint supply plan, and Xinyue undertook the 40,000-meter project. The standard and material is API 5L PSL2 GR.B, Specified the raw materail from Bao steel with coating 3LPE. Based on the first cooperation,to responsible for customer and ensure the quality, Xinyue invited third-party SGS for pre-shipment testing on products. Under the epidemic situation, the local government also blocked it for more than a month. In order to win the construction period for the project construction site, the customer hopes to deliver in batches. It coincided with the improvement of market conditions in June, environmental protection, limited production, and accumulation of anti-corrosion orders. With the coordinated efforts of various departments, the full-scale production was deployed. The first wholesale goods were completed in mid-June. All products passed the third-party inspection and won more time for the construction. The second batch of material also arrived at the port few days ago and is ready for shipment.

During the order operation, the customer gave Xinyue a high recognition and appreciation, which also prepare a good foundation for future cooperation. We are serious and professional in any projects for our customers!
