On April 9, 2019, the Indonesian Ministry of Finance issued Announcement No. 24/PMK.010/2019, which decided to extend the current 11.93% anti-dumping duty originating in or imported from China H-beam and I-beam. Effective 14 days after the date of validity, valid for 5 years. The Indonesian tax codes for the products involved are 7216.33.11, 7216.33.19, 7216.32.10 and 7216.32.90.

On June 30, 2009, the Indonesian Anti-Dumping Commission initiated an anti-dumping investigation on H-beams and I-beams imported from China. On February 1, 2018, the Indonesian Anti-Dumping Committee issued a notice stating that Indonesia initiated a second anti-dumping sunset review investigation on Chinese H-beam and I-beam on October 27, 2017.
