From further following up, we knew it’s a water delivery project from local government, pipes will be used on circumstance of 5-55 °C, based on this, we suggested FBE as internal coating & 3LPE as external coating.

The unit length is 18meters with grooved on both end, which is another difficulty on this order. The other point which was highly stressed by client is that the coupling should be totally match with the steel pipe, which will be grooved according to client’s drawing, as these couplings will be not only used on this new project, but also will be used on their other projects which were completed already and the couplings will be for replacements.

During a long time negotiation on the price, payment term, coating, standard and production control, order was finalized successfully.
