In the middle of June, 2020, Xinyue Steel received an inquiry for natural gas pipeline from an regular customer in Africa. The products is around 900 tons of seamless pipe, the material and steel grade is API 5L PSL2 X52. There also has a coating requirements for both internal and outside of pipes. For outside coating, customer need 3mm 3LPE, and for internal coating, customer need 100 micron FBE. Our customer told us honestly that the confirmation of technical parameters has cost too much time. Now the delivery time of this batch of goods was very urgent. The delivery time required by the customer was one third shorter than the regular production time. Xinyue Steel immediately communicated closely with all departments. After repeatedly checked and confirmed with the raw material factory, production and transportation departments, we agreed to meet the customer's delivery requirements. The production of this order was not the same as before. If there were any problems in any link, which will inevitably leads to the delay of the delivery time of the whole batch of goods.

This batch of orders was different from the usual production: high requirements, tight tasks, urgent delivery time. If there were any problems in any part of the whole production, delivery of any process, it will inevitably leads to the delivery time of the whole batch of goods delayed. Each department division of labor cooperation at the same time full firepower, during waiting for customer deposit, each department each link to make relevant preparations, from the first day of receiving deposit, each department of Xinyue Steel began to operate at full speed and high efficiency.

From the raw materials preparation, to the production of bare pipes, to parameters checking, Xinyue Steel control quality strictly in the process of accelerating production, finally we passed the inspection of goods perfectly at one time. And from the anti-corrosion production to the emergency allocation of resources and the smooth delivery of goods, every link of process, Xinyue Steel timely confirmed and updated the information to the customer. In the middle of July, Xinyue Steel kept our promise and successfully delivered the goods to our customers on time.

In the process, we have received customers' thanks and appraise more than once. We believe that we will have more opportunities to overcome all  difficulties on the way of future cooperation.

This is another successful "win-win cooperation" project case in Xinyue Steel’s thousand of projects experiences.
