US made a third anti-dumping sunset review final for China's malleable cast iron pipe fittings

On November 1, 2019, the US Department of Commerce issued a notice stating that the third anti-dumping rapid sunset review of the malleable Iron Pipe Fittings imported from China was finalized: the ruling on the cancellation of the anti-dumping duties of the case would result in the products involved in the case in China. Dumping continues or reoccurs with a dumping margin of 111.36%. The United States Harmonized Tariff Codes for the products involved are 7307.19.30.60, 7307.19.30.85, 7307.19.90.30, 7307.19.90.60, 7307.19.90.80 and 7326.90.86.88.


On November 25, 2002, the US Department of Commerce initiated an anti-dumping investigation on the import of malleable cast iron pipes imported from China. On October 21, 2003, the US Department of Commerce made an affirmative final ruling on the import of China's malleable cast iron pipe fittings. After the United States made the first anti-dumping sunset review for the above-mentioned products, the United States extended the anti-dumping duties on the products involved for the first time on April 22, 2009. After the United States made a second final anti-dumping sunset review of the above-mentioned products, the United States extended the anti-dumping duty on the products involved on the second time on August 12, 2014. On July 1, 2019, the US Department of Commerce issued a notice to initiate a third anti-dumping sunset review investigation on the import of malleable cast iron pipes imported from China.
