In July 2019, Xinyue successfully won the Kuwait Coastal Construction Project through the assistance of one regular Kuwait customer. After receiving the customer's letter of credit at the end of August, we arrange the production according to customer order requirements immediately.

The pile pipe of this project includes two parts, one is ERW and the other is LSAW. The length of the pile pipe is 12000mm ~ 18200mm. All ERW parts can be produced directly according to customer requirements. And the wall thickness of both 14 ”and 16” pile pipes are 16mm, which can only be produced by a few factories including Xinyue in China. Due to the limitation of the raw material's length for the LSAW steel pipe, the welding type of the pile pipe over 12 meters are Tee welding.

In spite of the many challenges in the production process and also have some special requirements from the customer, we implemented the strictly quality control during the production process, to ensure that all production details were in accordance with ITP and all customer’s testing requirements.

Finally, Xinyue completed the production of the pile pipe in strict accordance with the project requirements and passed the third-party BV inspection which arranged by the customer.

The first batch of steel pipes was shipped in late November and is expected to arrive at the Kuwait construction site by the end of December.
