On July 3, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of India issued a notice stating that the joint application submitted by the Indian Stainless Steel Development Association, the Indian domestic companies JindalStainlessLimited, JindalStainless (Hisar) Limited and JindalStainlessSteelwayLimited, originated or imported from mainland China, South Korea, the European Union, Japan Anti-dumping investigations were initiated by FlatRolled Products of Stainless Steel in Taiwan, Indonesia, the United States, Thailand, South Africa, the United Arab Emirates, Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, Singapore, Mexico, Vietnam and Malaysia. The case mainly involved products under Indian Customs Codes 7219 and 7220.

The dumping investigation period of this case is from April 2018 to March 2019 (12 months), and the damage investigation period is 2015~2016, 2016~2017, 2017~2018 and dumping investigation period.
