As China's neighbour and a member of the China-ASEAN Free Trade Area, Vietnam maintains a good foreign trade relationship of steel product with China. The Vietnamese market is also a major export area of Xinyue Steel Group. Xinyue has been exporting to Vietnam for more than 10 years. Export products include spiral welded pipes, rectangular pipes, steel sheet piles, galvanized pipes, profiled steel plates and so on.

The order we want to share with you this time is a cold-drawn seamless steel pipe to an regular customer of Xinyue, used in industrial machinery manufacturing. The steel grades of the products are JIS G4051 S35C and S45C. What is different from the past is that the customer required a small quantity this time and the steel pipe dimensional tolerance control requirements are very strict. The outer diameter of 14mm, the inner diameter of 8.1mm, the tolerance must meet the positive tolerance of 0-0.1mm, and the straightness must not exceed 1mm/m. This is a big test for our raw material procurement and quality control.

Not afraid of difficulties, Xinyue’s procurement department immediately started searching for raw materials on the market after receiving the order. After 1 week of hard work, we found a completely matching raw material, in order to ensure that the chemical composition and mechanical properties of the material fully meet the customer’s requirements ,our inspectors take samples and pass the test before purchasing. At present, the goods have passed the internal quality inspection 100%, packed and weighed and shipped to the port for loading. From production to inspection to hang tag. Xinyue sent photos of every step of the operation to customers, allowing customers to know the status of their orders in real time.
