Recently, in order to accelerate the construction of a manufacturing powerhouse, implement a green manufacturing project, and actively build a green manufacturing system, the Department of Energy Conservation and Comprehensive Utilization of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology proposed that the China Electronics Technology Standardization Institute combine steel, petrochemical, building materials, machinery, and automobiles. Major industry associations, research institutes, and key enterprises jointly drafted the GBT36132-2018 Green Factory Evaluation General Standard for the official release. This is the first time China has formulated and issued the relevant standards for green factories.

The standard defines the definition of green plant terminology, from the aspects of basic requirements, infrastructure, management system, energy resources input, products, environmental emissions, performance, etc., according to “intensity of factory buildings, harmlessness of raw materials, production cleanliness, waste resources, The principle of energy low carbonization was established, and a green factory system evaluation index system was established, and general requirements for green factory evaluation were proposed. The issuance of standards will help guide companies to establish green factories, promote industrial green transformation and upgrade, and achieve green development.
