On the last day of 2019, we received a repeat order from an old customer in the Middle East. The customer has continuously cooperated with us to purchase steel pipes for 3 years.

This contract is a five-year supply contract for the project of bridge construction. The customer will purchase about 500 tons per year under project demand continuously, and with a single specification of 762 * 9.53 * 10M.

Xinyue people's maintenance of old customers has always been the top priority. Although we have been supplied this contract for 2 years, the technical team of Xinyue still pays attention to all technical requirements as before. From raw materials to production to shipment, all the details are carefully discussed on the Pre-production meeting.

For the 762 OD pipe, the wall thickness of 9.53 is a critical value, which is very difficult to control. In order to ensure that the minimum thickness of the customer cannot be less than 9.5mm, according to production experience, we decided to order the steel plate to be 10mm thick to ensure that wall thickness will be on the positive tolerance accordingly. Customers have also expressed great satisfaction with this thickness in previous orders.

The original delivery of the contract was at the end of March, because it coincided with the Spring Festival holiday, and then caught up with the impact of China ’s New Corona virus. All factories were delayed to resume production, resulting in delays in the delivery of the contract again and again. The first time that the understanding of the disease accepted the extension. Finally, the factory resumed work at the end of March and completed the entire order in mid-March.

According to the contract, it will require TPI after finish production to conduct quality testing . After the third-party inspection, we heard the serious news of the new foreign crown epidemic. All conditions are the same as those days at the epidemic peak time in China, We tell our guests don’t panic, we have experienced everything you are facing now and are willing to provide all the experience to help them defeat the new Corona virus.

The customer informed that the time to resume work was also pushed back and forth. Based on the previous cooperation, Xinyue also expressed understanding to the customer. Therefore, after the production of steel pipes, we have been putting the pipes in Xinyue's warehouse for more than 2 months. Eventually, after waiting for the good news from the customer, the construction was resumed, so Xinyue successfully arranged the shipment at the beginning of the May. This also became the longest delivery order in the history of Xinyue, which lasted 5 months.

Think about what customers think and share anxiety and difficulties with our parents. This is also the credo that our Xinyue people have been fulfilling.
