Chinese Steel, fighting for honor
May. 28, 2018
On March 19, 2018, the United States International Trade Commission (ITC) issued an announcement and decided to terminate the anti-monopoly allegation investigation against China's "337 investigation" of carbon steel and alloy steel.
The ITC ruled that the plaintiff, the United States Steel Corporation (hereinafter referred to as the American Steel), was required to prove that the defendant’s monopolistic conduct had been harmed, but because the plaintiff could not prove it, it did not have the qualification to prosecute.
So far, for nearly two years, Chinese iron and steel companies have successfully won the “337 investigation” case of anti-monopoly, stealing trade secrets and anti-circumvention, and have successfully defended the reputation of Chinese steel companies in the US market and even in the international market, and defended China’s reputation.
The dignity of the steel industry and the brand image of Chinese Steel.
After 40 years of reform and opening up, Chinese Steel industry has had sufficient capacity to base itself on the world steel stage. This is a solid foundation for a complete victory. In the face of unfair trade treatment, Chinese enterprises must dare to say no, fight back with rationality and power, and resolutely safeguard their own interests and image.
