Brazil's anti-subsidy affirmative final cut for Indian cast iron and / or chrome steel grinding balls

On April 1, 2019, Brazil made a counter-subsidy affirmative final ruling on cast iron and/or chrome steel grinding balls originating in India: decided to deal with India from March 28, 2019. The product is subject to a five-year countervailing duty. The countervailing duty rate applicable to AIA Engineering Limited Limited Welcast Steels Ltd. and other producers/exporters is 2%. The Nangong City tax number of the products involved is 7325.91.00.
On October 2, 2017, the Foreign Trade Secretariat of the Brazilian Ministry of Industry and Trade Services issued the No. 51 announcement in 2017 to initiate a countervailing investigation on cast iron and/or chrome steel grinding balls originating in India. On May 8, 2018, the Foreign Trade Secretariat of the Brazilian Ministry of Industry and Trade Services issued Announcement No. 19 of 2018 to make a countervailing preliminary ruling on cast iron and/or chrome steel grinding balls originating in India.
