Xinyue Steel Group received another new order from our regular OZ client at the end of October 2020. It’s an order for stock supplement, Seamless pipe ASTM A106 GR.B with size OD DN15-450, WT SCH40-SCH160, length in 6meters, 38sizes, about 200tons in total and still in FOB term as usual.

Based on our long-term cooperation & trust, it only took 3 working days for both sides confirmed the price & contract, deposit settlement, booking raw material and arranging production schedule. As per contract, all items will finished production & pre-shipment inspection and ready for ex-mill in the mid of July 2021.

Due to the epidemic, ports around the world have experienced varying degrees of congestion since the beginning of 2020, and it is particularly difficult to book a shipment successfully. Tianjin Xinyue, as a leading export enterprise in Tianjin area and even in China, has a completely understanding of the freight situation of Tianjin port. At the beginning of June when production starts, we informed customer to arrange the shipment ASAP to avoid delay of delivery, spared about one month for customer process the shipment booking.

However, since the containers departure from China were stranded in ports all over the world, there was an extreme shortage of containers. Our customer were still not succeed even spent one month on the booking.

To avoid further delay, Tianjin Steel suggested customer to ship this order by break bulk vessel to ensure all pipes are able to be exported successfully. After assessment and confirmation, the customer immediately decided to ship the pipes by break bulk vessel and spent two weeks to confirm the vessel space with the shipping company. Now all goods are ready for delivery and can be loaded on board once vessel arrived at Tianjin port.
